Description of the issue: Brakes are not working for this aircraft

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Have reloaded several times into the aircraft and restarted the sim

  2. Doesnt appear to happen with any other aircraft in the fleet

  3. Depressing the brakes wont stop the aircraft with idle power.

Does it even have brakes?

Only the replica model configuration has brakes. This is clearly not a bug but realism :smile:

No brakes on the real one. Land on grass, switch engines off and coast until she stops. Can try a bit of back pressure on the yoke.
There is also no trailing wheel. Just a flat thing I now notice is on some older war planes.
Also no radio, no working compass. She’s truly vintage.

Correct unless you choose the replica version under aircraft configurations. That one has a modern cockpit (steam gauges) plus brakes and other good stuff

I guess this is living proof that one needs to RT the FM. Right in the documentation.

It’s all well and good the real aircraft not having a brake, I get it, but we are not flying in the real world. There simply isn’t enough surface friction to get it to stop in any reasonalbe distance…

Yep, interesting aircraft but I won’t fly it. Too much angst on landing. This would not be considered airworthy by todays standards would it or pass CAA/FAA safety checks?
