For the first time in 533 hours in the sim... (Pic)

Had a great flight from Lincoln, NE (KLNK) to Louisville, KY (KSDF) in my beloved Longitude. Before anyone yells at me for not searching similar topics, indeed I have searched the “hundreds” of similar topics, but I’m not finding any clear answers (maybe there aren’t any). The consensus seems to related to “CHECK YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION” but there’s nothing wrong with my internet connection.

For the first time ever (I’ve literally never seen this in 533 hours of simming on this program), I noticed this on final to KSDF runway 17R. I haven’t changed any of my settings (all at ultra). I received no photogrammetry warnings. Everything operated normally on the flight (scenery on takeoff was normal). I know there’s people on these forums who know far more than I do when it comes to this stuff. The worst part was that when I landed (butter) the sim registered me as striking an object and listed me as crashing. :frowning: Anyway maybe it’s something obvious and I figured I’d ask you guys. Thanks for any help. It was a real let down to have an otherwise great flight end like this.

Well that symptom is related to streaming data - so it is the network connection, either at the MS Cloud end, your ISP (perhaps throttling), or your local network.

If you can, try switching to Google or Cloudflare DNS on your router as suggested here and test again:

Good luck

I’m on a solid 1.2 Gbps connection and two or three times I’ve hit phantom runway objects and even fell into a hole in parking once.

I don’t think it’s possible to get a crash free record in MSFS. At some point a sim bug will kill you.
