ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Loading Screens and menus can cause my motion platform and Moza AB9 force feedback joystick to go crazy to such an extent they could cause injury.
Appears the sim is sending strong telemetry during the menus and loading screens.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Yes, the issue is still here.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time, but to varying degrees. The issue has got worse with the SU1 update.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start the sim - joystick does crazy when the start button appears.
  2. Load an aircraft - Motion platform goes crazy.
  3. Butt Kicker joins the party on both.

• Yes

• Moza AB9 and Buttkicker all seem to run through strong forces in menus as soon as game loads. Choosing a different plane can stop these effects but every time a different plane is selected you get some feedback. Surely any feedback should always be disabled in menus? As the OP states, this could actually be dangerous and I think it is a safety issue that needs tackling.

It seems almost is if it is running through a replay of a flight as I can see on SimHaptic that it starts with turbulence and drag effects and then you get a strong ‘landing’ bump, followed by a ground roll effect and then the forces go lighter. But these forces are stronger than I have them set for normal flying.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

I got that too. Verry frustrating. I wait till I get in the plane before I turn my stuff on for now.

Same here and VIOLENT is a good word. I have to scramble to select the free flight button as I am afraid something is going to break.

I have the same problem with my Moza AB9 Base. My cockpit shook so much that one of the joysticks fell off and broke! This problem appeared with the SU1. It’s quite impressive how the AB9 Base can shake, it’s dangerous. I can’t imagine how this can happen with a motion platform !

Also, I noticed that it seems to have a connection to the last aircraft selected. For example, for a while now I have been selecting the Cessna 172 before leaving Flight Simulator 2024 and I have not had the problem since. I often use the Robinson R66 helicopter, I doubt that the problem comes from this aircraft.
