Ford Trimotor 5AT Almost completed

All those scratches give the character that this plane deserved. Fantastic job. I love your texturing skills. I can’t wait to see the cargo version full of crates :wink:

Everything continues to look excellent! I’m really looking forward to this.

Am I about to buy another Trimotor? Yes I am, other Barry, yes I am.

@Oberon3d,

I sent you a message about a livery request, but I’m not sure it got to you. Therefore I will copy the message here and hope that you see it ok, and to share it with others. Here it is…
:::::::::::::::::::: M E S S A G E ::::::::::::::::
Please consider creating a livery for N414H, which currently resides at the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum (WAAAM) in Hood River, OR. I’ve had a person create a livery using the 4-AT Asobo recently released, but there are a lot of things the person doing the work could not change, so it really does not look like N414H. I would like to have this livery because I make MSFS videos of their airplanes, and would like to make one for N414H. Following are links to images of N414H. I have access to the plane and can get interior shots if you’d like them.

Here are videos I’ve done so far. I have several other liveries of their planes waiting to be produced.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to the possibility of working with you.

Hi rgp1942.

Sorry about replying so late. I have been away on holidays.

I will have a look at making that livery. I have a few versions of liveries featuring the N414H number (all based on real photographs) but not that particular one.

This looks so much better than the Aeroplane Heaven Trimotor that was released as a Famous Flyer. I am very much looking forward to this as a big fan of the 20’s and 30’s era in aviation. Best wishes for continued development.

Thank you! The livery for N414H that you did for me looked fine, but you were handicapped by core framing and components/objects of the AH 4-AT. Tukan has not responded to my request for an N414H livery, so it may be that your talents and skills will be called upon. Thanks for being willing! :slightly_smiling_face:

@Oberon3d: Sorry - I think I got confused between you and a person who made a test livery for me for N414H using the AH/Asobo 4-AT. Are you “Tukan”? If so, I apologize for the confusion on my part, and thank you for looking into making a livery for N414H. The links to pictures I sent you should be helpful, but if you need more please let me know. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, I am Batman…I mean…Tukan…

Good. Did you see the private message I sent you on July 30? Thanks!

@oberon3d - What is the latest status of your 5-AT Ford Trimotor? Any ETA?

Hi. Last thing remaining is the radio switches…You would think it would be easy to implement but every system has been a hurdle…

After that it will only be working on the sounds implementation and polish.

Here is something I hope you like @rgp1942

WOW! I AM BLOWN AWAY!

Can’t thank you enough! Can’t wait to make a video with it!

Very excited about this, I love the classic airliners even if it feels like you’re getting nowhere fast!

Looks-wise she looks stunning but what kind of engine simulation will there be? Will we have to manage temperatures or struggle to start? As much as I love flying the old airliners I find a lot of them start up like a brand new Diamond straight out of the factory.

Still, this is high on my list!

Wow, this looks fantastic! Please don’t rush the sound work. It’s just as important as the visual model.
