Foveated Rendering Fuzziness significantly reduces performance.. easy fix?

For trees and fences in particular, and probably could apply to other things, sometimes foveated rendering renders what is within the focused region different than what isn’t. This leads to popping and distraction in the corner of you eye requiring less aggressive application of it.

Could get >10 fps frame rate boost if this was relieved since it could be used more agressively. That or allow less aggressive upscaling. Would also help even at same amount of foveated rendering.

It seems to me like it might be significantly improved if the low res area was aliased. Though still trees and fences should be looked at in particular. I swear fences change to use a different model between the two, it can be very obvious where the cut off is as one is filled in, other one isn’t.
