Noticed this going onto last BETA.
STEPS, different aeroplanes, different airports. Deleted Rolling Cache, deleted Scenery data cache.
FPS is very smooth and then literally like clockwork at around 50ft, the FPS 1/2 until touchdown.
Using GSX, based in the UK, frame gen, settings high (100Tlod /Oled nothing crazy).
7800x3d, 4080s ssd/m/2 64GB RAM 1440P.
Any ideas?

Did you try disabling Displacement Mapping in the sim general settings?

didnt make a huge difference but i want to keep testing, does it work for you?
On my test airport (a small one) I have 145 FPS (when I unlock them) with Displacement Mapping OFF and 110 with Displacement Mapping ON. It’s a lot of FPS and this needs to be taken into account and can be the reason some people have stutters when landing at bigger airports. I know when I’m going to land at big airports and I have it disabled I don’t have any problems.
I always have fauna OFF too.
