FPS Drops Significantly When Switching to Other Applications

Description:

I am experiencing a significant drop in frames per second (FPS) in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 when switching to other applications, such as web browsers or Discord.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and set the desired frame rate limit (in my case, 50 FPS).
  2. Start the simulation and allow it to run for a period of time.
  3. Switch to another application (e.g., a web browser, Discord).
  4. After a few minutes, return to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
  5. Observe the FPS drop to approximately 10 FPS.
  6. Clicking on the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 window will temporarily restore the FPS to the desired 50.

Expected Behavior: The frame rate should remain relatively stable at the set limit, regardless of whether I am actively using the simulator or switching to other applications.

Actual Behavior: The frame rate drops significantly when I switch to other applications and only recovers when I actively click on the simulator window.
