Hi… My pc setup: 7800x3d, sapphire rx 7900xt, 32gb RAM
I try to play the game at 2K ultra settings with TAA and my fps is only 40 in NewYork…
But on YT videos i see 80-90…what can be the problem in my pc?
I dont use a fps limeter or vsync
Likely the YT videos you are seeing are using Frame Generation…do you have an nVidea graphics card?
Ah I see you have AMD card. Frame Generation not available at this point.
There is a beta/preview driver from AMD available that supports frame generation and it works pretty good. You can check out the 11/9/23 version here:

With your cpu/gpu specs your system is being underutilized on a 2k monitor. You’ve essentially got a Porsche that you are driving down a dirt road - you’re never going to realize its full potential. You need at least a 1440p monitor, a 4k monitor would be best.

My FPS are averaging 30 flying over the ocean I’m seeing “Limited By Main Thread” and I’m getting red and yellow spikes. I have a 7800X3d with 4090 so I’m guessing I have CPU issues ?? I’m on a 34" oled monitor. I see a ton of graphic setup suggestions and none have really made much of a difference. Is there a good thread/forum/discord or anything where a PC dummie can get help maximizing my settings. I want to eventually go to VR BUT I’m pretty sure that would be an even bigger challenge for me to get everything set up correctly.
