EDIT

Made further tests. It looks like docked EFB (or closed EFB) blocks frame generation : FPS indicated by MSFS don’t change when i open EFB in a floating windows, but Game Bar indicates that FPS is multiplicated by 2 and you feel that increase when you play.

Running on a low/mid PC (5700X3D + 32GB RAM + RTX 2070 + 5120x1440 screen)

That isn’t actually the case. When you use windows game bar to check FPS it shows the total number of frames by windows.

With that I mean that if you have 39 frames and 2 windows open like you have with the efb, it counts that as double frames because of 2 windows, so it shows a total of 39fps x 2 windows = 78frames(ish)

Oh yes, you’re right. I made the test with 3 floating windows and FPS was multiplicated by 3.

So bad. What is funny is that I really felt it was more fluid :joy:

Funny you should say that because I use 2 monitors, the second monitor has 2 TBM gauges popped out onto it and when I pop them out, it does feel smoother than without them.
