Could someone please tell me what has happened to the free aircraft in 2024 as a gift because of the poor release state of the Sim.
I’ve been reading about the release of PA28 Dakota but I’ve got nothing in my hanger or in the MSFS Marketplace, in fact I’ve not seen any of these aircraft …

Should be there in your 2024 library. You don’t have to do anything to get them. If you scroll across the aircraft is the Dakota not there under ‘Piper’?

I took a pair of short flights with this Dakota. It seems OK to me.
By the way, how do you start the engine from cold and dark? The magnetos don’t do it. I can’t see any button to start.

The mixture lever is buggy. Use your mouse and click and drag it from idle cutoff to full rich then you can start the engine. Thereafter you can use whatever you have the mixture set on to control it.
I checked yesterday and couldn’t find it either. I’ll give it another look

Maybe you have to enable it in your library?
Shoudn’t need to. It should just show up searching for it in the hanger.
No, I checked again and it was there. Just so many planes in the hangar, it’s easy to miss
