surely you mean once today… we’ve had this discussion already 10 days ago, just scroll up in this thread ![]()
I mean the “bug fixed” tag. It has only just got added I think. Making the thread longer may not encourage them to fix it faster as their triage system probably doesn’t factor in how shouty the community are. ![]()
That said, the press any key screen got removed, although it did seem they were really resistant to remove something they claimed was easy to do.
Making the thread longer may not encourage them to fix it faster
I mean… it may, or it may not, but realistically, this is the only place we get to bug them about it (pun intended), since they outright ignored this question on the live Q&A. And they need to realise that it has completely stopped some users from enjoying the sim.
And they should also realise it directly affects their bottom line as well. As excited as I am for the Fenixsim A320, the PMDG 737, or any other high quality aircraft making its way to MSFS, I simply will not purchase anything until this issue is resolved. I have completely moved over to X-plane since SU5 and, if SU6 doesn’t fix this issue, I will completely uninstall the sim and maybe consider coming back to it in a year or so. I don’t have the patience to check every week for an update or keep hoping for a hotfix.
This is how hard this issue is affecting me right now (workaround and all) and this is why it’s quite frustrating to see someone in this thread saying "just stop talking about it, maybe it’ll get fixed
".
What we need are more votes, and not just “bump” posts. Votes may count, post count not so much.
Post visibility could be an issue, but 175 votes is tiny compared to the press any key thread.
Just checked and it’s ranked sixth, with another thread also at 175, in the Miscellaneous section. That’s not too bad.
Bump… keep it going. I almost crashed after takeoff today because of this BUG. It needs fixing.
The weird thing is I use ‘right click hold’ all the time to look around and I don’t have the problem with the controls freezing.
It locks yoke, and rudder inputs on any plane I fly.
Same, until I changed joysticks. If I use my old joystick, the issue isn’t there. This must somehow be hardware-related.
Maybe. I’m using the Thrustmaster TCA sidestick.
This is an issue for all! I hope tomorrow its fixed. Otherwise they dont listen to the small stuff!
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the bug is NOT FIXED. Hard to be excited about DX12 or a military jet or whatever else they boasted about recently.
Yup, I still have the issue as well.
Can also confirm that its not fixed. Guess my MSFS have to continue to collect dust until its fixed. sigh
Still not fixed, clear as day Asobo only care about one thing.
Yup, issue still here as well. @Jummivana can you please confirm that it really is logged? This bug has survived multiple updates now.
This workaround is almost as bad as the bug itself. It requires multiple conscious actions (middle click → pan where you want → middle click again). After 1 year of getting used to a certain way of doing things, playing other flight sims where we use the same scheme (x-plane, not sure about p3d), it’s hard to get into that habit.
Yep, still not fixed.
■■■■ this is just getting insanely ridiculous, I just don’t know what to say any longer.
Completely out of hope for this product, with this level of support…
I really start to believe this is supposed to be a feature but i have no idea what’s the thinking behind it would be.
I think it would be easy and quick to fix, and there was some work done relating to the mouse, so why would they not fix this while they are at it?
I thought the same, maybe it’s intended. Then why wouldn’t they say: “Hey, sorry… [insert bull ■■■■ excuse here].”
But then you notice that not all hardware inputs are frozen. I have my camera controls on a hat on the throttle. Those still work. More-so, when going to the external camera, the issue cannot be reproduced. It’s mind-boggling how we still have this bug in the game at this point in time. And I’d venture to guess it’s gonna stay with us a bit more.
