[Freeware] Aermacchi MB-339 - Sound mod

I worked on a modification of the sound comportment of the Aermacchi MB339.

While the default aircraft use a legacy system from FSX to play the sounds, this mod replace it with the Wwise Sound Engine. This change allows to use all the powerfull capabilities of the sound engine used by Asobo in MSFS.
Multiple new features have been added:

  • Progressive engine sound attenuation when closing canopy.
  • Canopy sound animation.
  • All usables cockpit instruments have now corresponding sound.
  • Rattle, wind, yoke, pedals, flaps, elevator, gear (etc.) sounds.
  • Sound spatialization and reverberation.

Demo:

All the sounds are from the MB339 and Flight simulator, for now I haven’t searched other source of sounds.
Feel free to comment, especially for the sound of the engine which I could work on it now that everything is integrated and functional.

This is just perfect, it started driving me nuts not having gear and flaps sound.
I love this plane so much.
