Hello ,
Today i purchased Mfsf2020 Premium Deluxe Version Pc DVD ( 10 in total ! ) .
I have 2 SSD
My C: Drive ( 2Tb’s ) where my windows are installed and my D : Drive 4Tb’s .
My Question is : I want to Install my Flight Simulator into my D: drive
I read that for the Digital Version there is the Launcher Appr. 1.36gb which it must be Installed on C: Drive where the Windows are Installed !
All the rest on any Other Drive !
In my case , does the same think applies ?
Second Question : What about my Other Programs that i want to install :
e.g. Fs Realistic , Saitek X52pro , Track ir 5 , Fsuipc ( I am not sure if ineed this ) .
Any help will be appreciated !
Sorry for the long post , but i want to make sure that i know exactly what to do before starting my Installation !
I wasn’t aware that you can buy DVDs…but fyi I recommend that you install from the Windows 10 PC Game available from XBox.
That will install FS2020 and all updates on your PC or laptop.
Just my 2 cents worth…
Yes. Create a new ISO-file with the following files from your first disc.
Use WinCDEmu to mount it to a drivenumber you want and you’ll never get the message again.
Actually using this method since August 2021
No. Only sometimes when there’s a new version of Win11 (I am on the Insider program) you need to re-mount again. (make a copy of Disk1 ISO and put it on Onedrive or so)
Furthermore: Delete all the files of fs-base-cgl ECXEPT: DB_notices, (it comes from your first install from the DVD’s) as you download it again online when installing the sim. I frees up 20 GB from the sim.
