ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
If you delete(move) the Content.xml file and allow the sim to regenerate it, 3rd party content is being enabled by default. It would seem important that this would, instead, result in a “vanilla” install with only Asobo/Microsoft content enabled. In my case, I have the 2024 versions of Zinertek Enhanced Airport Graphics and MMCZ Cozumel by Flymex. These are being enabled by default. I do not have any other 2024-specific 3rd party content (yet), but I’d expect that once I get updates for what I own, I will see this with them, as well.

  2. Delete/move Content.xml
  3. Launch sim
  4. Go to My library and note 2024 3rd party content is enabled

This has proven to be true. “Enhanced Runway Lights” became available as a free upgrade to a 2024 version. I upgraded to it.

Deleting the Content.xml file and allowing the sim to regenerate it is now enabling “Enhanced Runway Lights” along with the previously mentioned 3rd party content by default.

I still maintain that a fresh copy of Content.xml should result in a “vanilla” installation of the sim, not one with 3rd party content enabled.
