My friend has 12 core i7, AMD 7860 2GB graphics and 16GB RAM and when he goes to play it says his computer isn’t adequate enough. Makes no sense. Any thoughts?

Am I missing something? That’s just what he told me is his specs.
The AMD Radeon 7860 2 GB graphics card is from the Radeon 7000, which is 8 year old (Released 2012).

Minimum AMD Graphics card spec is the Radeon RX 570 2 GB (released 2017)

So your friend’s Graphics card is pretty underpowered based on the Min specs.

Also doesn’t help the numbering of the Graphics card lines kinda changed a few times, both NVIDIA and Radeon were in the thousands in their model numbering scheme, then reset to hundreds. So for the unfamiliar, the older “higher” numbered cards can appear “newer” at first glance.
But assuming the i7 isn’t too old a model (older than 4th gen, which seems unlikely given the core count), it appears the vid card is all they would need to upgrade.
