Je suis parti acheter une baguette chez le boulanger, j’ai acheté de la farine, du levain de l’eau , etc et il m’a dit ; démerde toi !!! J’ai tout essayé, installation, réinstallation, enlever les addon communauté de fs2020, réinstaller mes addon une fois que FS2024 (Xbox, version 1.28) semble bien fonctionner, regarder et étudier les tuto, retirer option traffic aerien temps réel, meteo temps réelle, traffic IA, augmenter la memoire cache, etc,etc,etc. Quelqu’un pourrait il m’aider svp, mayday, mayday, j’utilise MSFS depuis les années 80, çà ne m’est jamais arrivé un plantage de ce genre, on est le 31 décembre plus d’un mois après sa sortie officielle. Je peux installé mes aéroports que j’avais acheté pour fs2020, mes addon communauté une fois installé fonctionne aussi donc (çà s’améliore), mon Cirrus SR22 de FS2020 fonctionne mais les livrés ne fonctionnent pas, et LE JEU NE FAIT QUE DE SE CRASHE. Le jeu est magnifique quand çà marche mais sinon une vraie galère, on passe le peu de temps libre qu’on s’octroie à se détendre avec FS2024 et on passe plus de temps à essayer de trouver des solutions aux mille problèmes rencontrés que de jouer à FS2024, ex ; tu passes 1 heure à planifier ton vol, et 5 minutes après ton décollage, FS2024 pfft !! disparu !! le jeu s’éteint tout seul… sans parler de rechercher sur les forums ou sur celui ci fs2024, çà fait 3/4 d’heure que j’essaye d’envoyer le message sur le forum, tout est compliqué, en bas c’est écrit dans un carré bleu "envoyer le message, je clique et mon message reste dans le brouillon personne ne peut le lire…Même pas un numéro d’assistance pour entendre un être humain normal au téléphone m’expliquer ce que je dois faire… Mayday !! I am still experiencing the same problems today (January 06, 2025), if not the memory, the game crashes every time in free flight, planes do not work properly (ATR and A300 600 for example), on the other hand the A320 Fenix does not have a problem and works quite well! (but is not integrated into MSFS!)
My PC: asus 790 f / 14900k / RTX 4080 SUPER/ RAM 64 GB (everything should work for msfs 2024 but …)
I hope Asobo moves to make an update very quickly to correct all this, because it is not correct to sell such a badly finished product! we are all wasting our time and our nerves are suffering
With MSFS 2020 I have no problem!

Je rencontre les mêmes problemes encore aujourd’hui (06 janvier 2025), si ce n’est pas la memoire, le jeu plante a chaque fois en vol libre, des avions ne fonctionnent pas correctement (ATR et A300 600 par exemple), par contre l’A320 Fenix ne rencontre pas de probleme et fonctionne assez bien ! (mais ne fait n’est pas integré dans msfs !)
Mon PC : asus 790 f / 14900k / RTX 4080 SUPER/ RAM 64 GO (tout devrait fonctionner pour msfs 2024 mais …)
j’espere que Asobo se bouge pour faire une mise a jour très rapidement pou corriger tous cela, car il n’(est pas correcte de vendre un produit aussi mal fini ! nous perdons tous notre temps et nos nerfs en souffrent
avec msfs 2020 je n’ai aucun problème !

Disable Hyper-Threading (HT) in your BIOS settings as this may resolve the problem. Save changes.

Thanks, I will try too… But for me, this is not really a ‘solution’ since it requires downgrading the CPU. Hyper-Threading is used by other applications, and disabling it would negatively impact their performance.

We are on Version 1.28.0 since 17 days with no updates or communication from Microsoft.
Still experiencing numerous CTDs (Crash to Desktop) with the following exception codes:

  • Exception code: 0xc0000005
  • Exception code: 0x80000003
  • Dxgi_error_device_hung or Dxgi_error_device_reset

These crashes occur:

  • During missions (randomly at any point),
  • When pausing the game (almost every time),
  • Or after a mission, during the “Headquarters” screen (nearly always).

→ Resulting in either a return to the Windows desktop or a full system reboot…

This is honestly very frustrating! Yes, the game is beautiful, complex, and could be amazing without these constant, incredibly frustrating bugs!
Additionally, for almost a week now (since 01/01/2025 at 00:00 - a Y2K bug? The old ones know…), VIP missions remain unavailable. These are my favorites, especially since I created my company specifically for them.

Regarding the crashes, I read on a forum that Intel 13th and 14th gen CPUs might be the root cause. They could require a replacement from Intel due to a design issue, which was supposedly fixed by a motherboard BIOS update. However, some CPUs might have been damaged by voltage errors before the update last summer, and as a result, could now be highly unstable during intensive use.
If confirmed, replacement might be necessary. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any diagnostic tools that specifically test for this issue (if someone knows…?).

For those experiencing similar crashes, what is your system configuration?

Mine: i7 14th 14700k + 64GB DDR5 RAM + RTX 4090

As part of troubleshooting the issue you’re experiencing, could you please test MSFS 2024 with Hyper-Threading (HT) disabled?

I will give it a try. However, I use Hyper-Threading (HT) in applications like the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro and other softwares), so disabling it will reduce performance. That’s why, for me, this is not really a solution. But I’ll try it and share the results.

Also disable the E-cores (Efficiency cores) in BIOS settings to further troubleshoot the issue.
If you are unsure how to disable E-cores, please refer to your motherboard’s manual for detailed instructions.

Once both HT and E-cores are disabled, launch MSFS 2024.

I think that Microsoft and all their teams, including Asobo, should have focused on the quality of the game, Graphics, piloting, Simulation, Server, Fluidity of the game on PC and in VR, compatibility with FS2020, creation of flight plans, and addons, etc.

Je vous fais part de mon ressenti de ce forum FS2024.
Je trouve qu’il est beau mais très mal conçu.

Ce forum est très mal fait. Au moment où j’écris le texte, un menu à droite de la fenêtre de réponse s’affiche avec les protocoles de bienveillance envers les personnes qui écrit les réponses du coup, la moitié du texte que j’écris est caché par ce menu qui prend la moitié de la fenêtre de réponse.
Donc pardonnez-moi d’avance si vous ne pouvez pas tout lire ou que des erreurs sont écrites sur le Texte, je ne peux voir tout le texte que j’écris, il me faut aller dans un nouvel onglet de mon browser, faire un copier coller de ce que j’écris, relire tout ce que j’écris même avec un micro pour le texte, le corriger, etc et le recoller sur cette page, bref une galère pour répondre à un message.

Je viens de me mettre sur le forum.Je constate qu’à ce message que vous venez de répondre, j’ai 7 réponses.

Je vous suggère de remonter toutes ces informations et pas seulement les miennes mais aussi tous les gens qui font part de leur problèmes sur FS2024, aux responsables de ce site.

just had the 0xc0000005 so frustrating,just coming into land at southampton airport 400ft then out of the blue sim stopped and ctd.normally i have crashes when im panning around so was extra careful not to use the camera very much,tbh its like treading on egg shells.i do hope this gets looked into soon,btw i was flying the inibuilds a320
