FS crashes after a minute or so

Every time I try to fly, FS seems fine, and I get to take off and enjoy a minute or so. Then, I get a dialog "MSFlightSimulator.exe has stopped working’ with ‘Exit * Debug program’ options.

Start flight simulator & fly. Doesnt matter what aircraft or location.

If I dont start a flight, and just leave FS running at the start screen, after a few minutes it hangs. with the following event log : The program WinStore.App.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

Please try to set a fps limit within e.g. nvidia control center. Your report sounds like a hardware-overheat issue. In special in menu is, in case you not use the low-energy-mode in experimental settings, the load very high.

PS: the bottom part within that bug-template, where you wrote about the WinStore.App.exe , should usually leaved empty. It is a template for users who can answer at your bug report and/or add additional informations ( “Contribute to this bug” ). I did it ax example.
