Fs2020 can become a metaverse

MSFS future is a metaverse. What do you think about this Cli4D 's mod ???

Normally the girls in bikinis would be the clickbait thumbnail, but for MSFS, using the DHC-2 Beaver was more effective. The man knows his audience! :joy:

I wouldn’t have the foggiest notion of how to use those addons, but it’s pretty cool. I’d definitely use more/better/any pax for my empty planes though, if that was possible.

FS2020 can become a metaverse: all you have to do is develop avatars that can communicate in multiplayer mode in customizable scenes on land, sea and in planes (shared piloting, possibility of being a passenger in a plane and admiring the interior and exterior landscapes ). There is a lot of work for developers but there is no limit. We can even imagine the development of NFTs in this new universe…

Let“s start with something more basic: unload a cargo and that becomes visible at apron or slingload a cargo to drop it elsewhere. There“s no interaction with existing scenery at all in game (except via some mods). You can“t do anything else than landing. After that we can think about complex resorts and people dancing with hats.

Cheers

For me, it’s a missed opportunity. During the early stages for MSFS I really wanted to see plane ā€˜persistence’ and ā€˜walking’ avatars.

Look I’ve seen some miserable YouTubers who don’t even like the doors opening in a GA plane let along walking up the steps to a Boeing 747, but for me the gameplay possibilities with these features can have a proper impact on flying skills and flying conditions.

All of a sudden the checklist starts to make sense, emergency procedures start to make sense, cargo load starts to make sense, instead of doing Crtl-E because you might miss something on the plane which needs attention, better to address this now than in the air. Moving around and inspecting the plane is all part of this process.

The wider picture is of course this post. With the avatar capability, then you can open up gameplay to other transport persuits, missions, extracurricular activiies like sailing and driving, why not.

For better clickbait, he could have used girls in bikinis washing their Beaver.

That is an amazing video thanks for sharing. l like the music too.

This is indeed what MSFS should become one day - if it does not then a rival sim in the future will or the successor to MSFS will.

It is the future , ultra high rez VR with full body feedback. Live a Second Life. Fly around alone or with friends!

Is this something in development mode or is it available? I went to the link, but here is no information, just the videos.

Edit: I found his stuff on Flightsim.to. I mistype his ID when I first tried. It’s Cli4D, not Clic4D.

Reminds me of those VRML worlds from the late '90s early '00s. Anyone remember those?

It’s fun to dream about the possibilities, but unless you’re just talking about a gimmicky VR chat room like we had back in the VRML days using little ā€œdemo islandsā€ like this, we’re probably generations away from a ā€œflight simulator metaverseā€. It certainly won’t be the ā€œFS2020ā€ platform. Asobo is still working on click spots on the user interface, and getting 3D objects to sit correctly on surfaces of different types. Getting your seaplane to bob in waves of transparent water is like step #12 in the ā€œmetaverseā€ and we’re still probably years away from that. Running down the beach to trade NFTs is like step #45,962. It would probably need to be a new community driven platform that thousands or tens of thousands of developers work on.

Am I the only one who noticed that the product is flight simulator and not fantasy life simulator?

One thing I sure don’t need is another useless ā€˜social’ app, except this time the spin is that its kind of aviation related perhaps.
