FS2024 stops loading at 97%

Last week I purchased the standard addition of FS2024 from the Microsoft Store. I downloaded it and it stops loading at 97%.

On the screen at around 93% the message “Bandwidth too low, loading times may be extended and world streaming degraded” pops up. At 92% I am seeing “Loading unusually long: log saved to Report-loading.toml”. I have waited over 12 hours and it is still at 97%. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and have the same problem. My internet download speeds average between 160 to 200 MBPS.

On the forums I saw this was a problem back in November and December of 2024 but not recently. Wondering if this is a recent Microsoft server issue are what else might be causing my loading to hang up at 97%.

Thanks for the tip Sevenflyer but at one point I saw this and gave it a try with no success.

Success, finally I was able to get FS2024 to install. I came across this tip on how to reset the Hosts file back to the default. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default-c2a43f9d-e176-c6f3-e4ef-3500277a6dae I renamed the Hosts file in case something went wrong and I had to reuse it. Next I followed the instructions on how to create a new Hosts file in the above link. I started FS2024 and it loaded right up without hanging up at 97%. It appears to be loading fine now.

When i had this, it was a rolling cache issue and my drive being too low on space. I made sure I had 20+GB free and it was able to generate the rolling cache and load in.
