FS24 some mist-inside clouds with terrible performance in ULTRA

Which are those clouds when in ultra settings that give this?, and the Sim becomes laggy-stuttery, till you go out from the cloud-mist. I remember the same in FS20. A solvable bug?, then when you enter in other clouds or mist-haze it is really smooth and good performance, weird?

And yes, it is like when you enter in them or you are very close and beginning to cross them, or some type of mist, and I checked yesterday the GPU and it was at 80% like normal, CPU like normal also, not one core 100%, maybe it is more CPU limitation?

Computer specs?

Yes it could be better, maybe it isn´t a too much powerfull hardware, 5090, 9950X3D, RAM 60GB 6000Mhz, and in VR with a HP G2.

Thanks for the help.

HAHAHAHA!!! I see what you did there.

(It helps others like me help you troubleshoot when we know the specs.)

Hahaha

Jokes aside, thanks, yes, ofc, could be one of the reasons the hardware, and normal ask for it, trying to help, thanks.

With that hardware it must be something else.
I have a 7950X3D and 3090 Ti.
I have seen a fairly significant FPS hit going into misty clouds.
But it’s like 55 FPS down to 40 FPS.

Yes it is that the same sure, maybe it feels for me like from 60 to 30-20fps, I didn´t watched the fps numbers, maybe that definition is better more than stuttery-laggy.

I’m going to see if I can find some of those clouds when I get my system back up and running after almost three weeks of downtime.

Any suggestions on where to go? Maybe Papua New Guinea?

I don’t do VR, but that I wouldn’t think that would be the cause of your issues. Maybe it contributes. I don’t know enough about VR.

It’s the antialiasing, use DLSS.

I use DLSS4 with the Nvidianspector settings, so I think it isn´t, or DLSS4 is the problem?, I guess that not, for me is like more not optimised clouds or so.

I find it all the days in any place, though over the Sahara Desert I don´t recommend to flight to seek them in live weather.
