FSDreamTeam scenery is 30% off in the marketplace. I own KORD and it is fantastic. If you fly Vatsim - or get generally frustrated with the MSFS default KORD taxiways not lining up with charts, this fixes all those problems. In my opinion, it’s one of the best 3rd party airports in the US as far as quality goes. I’m debating whether to get Louisville and Key West.
Post SU5, I saw in the Thursday announcement that KORD from FSDT was updated. In my Marketplace and Content Manager, I still see V1.2 out. Is this the latest?? Does anyone else see a newer version?

So since SU5 My KORD has been broken where the game freeze halfway through loading into KORD from fsdreamteam. However I heard there already was an update for the airport from their own site that fixed these issues. What I’m wondering is when would the update be coming to the marketplace version of the airport. Before SU5 I used KORD constantly because I live next to it, but it’s been basically broken for me for months now.
Do you guys think an update will come to the marketplace soon or is one better off just rebuying it through their own store?
Does anyone have any idea when FS Dreamteam will improve their aerial imagery for KORD so that it is at least on par with that provided with the default photogrammetry? I had uninstalled it a while back when I discovered how bad it looked compared to default free PG and I reinstalled it just a week or so ago when I saw that it had been updated but whatever the update was, it wasn’t for the aerials.
Am I the only one bothered by this? Texture quality used to be high on everyone’s list but now it seems to be secondary. I understand that it may be difficult for a developer due to the fact that they can’t know whether or not I choose to use PG (which often has better aerials) but still, there should be some way of them at least trying to make sure their aerials are at least on par with the best available default.
Anyone encountering ground textures not loading while all buildings are? Looks like satellite inagery is loading but not the textures of the runways and taxiways.
That happened to me around SU:12 on XBox. I reinstalled and double checked the default was deleted and that seemed to fix the issue. Haven’t flown out of there in awhile but not sure if the latest update did something.
Anyone has this scenery? I see it was released back in 2020…? Has this received any updates along the way? How does this hold up against newer releases?
It’s really the only/best option we have for now. I need to fly into/out of it more often, but you can tell it’s dated, and I noticed that the ground textures (taxiways at least) do not show raindrop effects during storms (rain hitting the pavement). I’m sure there’s a plethora of other concerns that people who use this offering more often have noticed, but again, it’s the only thing we have right now.

It’s good, but it would be nice to have an update with the completed T5 and taxiway updates, the taxiway names are way off in some places, but as stated, it’s all we have right now and it really is pretty good. It has received several updates since it was released also, so hoping for more updates in the future

I have noticed the Asobo and the FSDT KORD does not match the Navigraph 20-9 airport diagram. I don’t know which is incorrect. When taxiing my aircraft does not follow the Navigraph chart. I actually bought the FSDT version because I thought the Asobo airport must have been wrong. However, the same is true with FSDT version. Any thoughts?

It is what the others would look like if up-to-date. I know the in-sim KORD taxiways are wrong on the west side of the airport but correct on the east. Major changes have been underway at KORD for some time, so it’s hard to keep things current.
Thanks. The Jeppesen from Navigraph seems to match the FAA so the issue must be with the MSFS airport layout.

Indeed, there’s another large, multi-year update and domestic terminal expansion going on now, just after the huge International Terminal update, which also followed runway additions and expansions. It’s perpetually changing. I don’t know how any dev could keep up with closed or renamed taxiways. Would be really tough.
I have FSDT KORD but stopped using it after I upgraded to the premium deluxe edition that has the bespoke KORD. The only reason I got the FSDT originally is because the standard edition sim KORD was missing the newer runway and Navigraph wasn’t compatible.

I have it and like it a lot. I live near Kord too. For some reason Drzweicki didn’t release their Kord to msfs.
No it didn’t have updates yet. I emailed FSdream team and they said they do plan to make an update but didn’t have a timeline.
And also there’s a new parking garage in front of T5 now. Extended T5 terminal. Inclusion of Delta and Southwest now at T5. A de icing station on the west edge of airport. + it would be good to give the whole thing some touch ups with enhanced visuals now 4 years into the sim. Maybe once 2024 is out, we’ll get all of this.
I heard from the dev via email, regarding an update, Umberto said
“It’s planned, but we don’t have any release date to announce. The product will be announced on our website when it will be out.”
