FSLabs is bringing their Concorde to MSFS

The challenge is the business model reputation itself is divisive, and leads to non-compliant behavior on part of the community. That isn’t acceptable here.

Wondering why there is no more word about this on the forums? First screenshot of the MSFS version appeared:

I just cannot put my excitement into words. Hopefully this aircraft will live up to the experience it provided in FSX/P3Dv3 back then. It was unique.

I have to say I was blown away by this on P3D but Conti clocked in at 40GB of RAM used. I wonder how much RAM it will require on MFS? I would wager much less but perhaps I am wrong. We may well be entering the 64GB epoch with these planes.

I still have not purchased any Airbus but I would love to get my hands on the 350-900 :upside_down_face:

Just as long as they keep the DRM and malware out … and it runs well of course!

I’m with you on this. I figured out how to fly it in FSX, The key to supersonic was the fuel transfer.

P3D is a pretty awful performing platform when using complex addons, unfortunately. I remember fighting out of memory errors in P3Dv3 with the Concorde, trying to resize all the 2D panels so that they consumed less RAM and that worked to some extent but still, the 4GB VAS issue was a real PITA. Complex addon airports didn’t help either.

Even now with 64-bit P3D there are still issues it seems. The MSFS version is hopefully going to perform better as it should handle RAM more efficiently.

Good news and an absolutely excellent aircraft.

But, after my experience with their A320 family and how the updates and upgrades were handled and to a little extent the overall customer service, I will wait and see how the Concorde performs prior considering a purchase. Fenix for example, provides a great customer service for their A320 family. I like retro aircraft, but can wait to fly Singapore to Bahrain and on to Heathrow.

Kind regards.
