I have been noticing that when I have FSLTL Traffic on (only ground static traffic) the sim freezes for 15-30 seconds on approaches. I believe this is due to FSLTL loading the ground traffic. This doesn’t happens when FSLTL is off.
My question is, how can I eliminate the freeze on approaches while FSLTL loads the traffic?
I afraid we can only reduce injection radius, install less heavy texture pack for FSLTL and in the sim reduce in “General Option\Traffic” Traffic Variety from “ultra” to “high” (first set it to Low, save, check, then set it to Medium, save, check, if not OK to you, go to High) - this is what helps me. but all the systems are different.
FSLTL should still populate airports with live traffic based on your injection radius and other settings. The historical option is strictly for “fake” static planes that won’t go anywhere.
You could try as an experiment just to confirm if it’s actually responsible.
