So I loaded up FS24 and to my pleasant surprise, the FSR M500 was in my hangar! Being one of my favorites, I took it out for a quick and dirty test flight around KSAC. Feels like the aircraft I know and love, now with updated scenery and dynamics. It doesn’t have the “2024” features yet, such as the preflight walk around, but it seems to be running nicely. I did not start from cold and dark because I didn’t have a lot of time, but I plan on doing that in a bit to test out the checklist. I also haven’t tested damage or wear and tear yet. So far, however, oh so good. Thank you, @SimbolFSReborn! I look forward to when you release the 2024 optimized version (and I will happily pay an upgrade fee).
Please forgive the lighting. Sacramento has had a bit of weather today. And the landing didn’t go about as smooth as I hoped, but that’s completely my fault. Notice the tire tracks in the grass behind the plane; that was a nice touch…
I think it depends on which keyboard mapping layout you use 20/24. I bound the command to a spare mouse button so if I forget something on the opposite side of a default aircraft walkaround or if I walked away quite a distance I can just click in from there. Take command of pilot toggle or whatever they call it.
I think you are right, i tried using the standard 2024 keyboard & i can get in the plane but i either have no nav mode or the auto pilot wont work & it wont load the flight plan. I think its time to re-install 2024.
