I am using the Sting S4 in MSFS2024. My avatar pilot is not shown, but a female pilot is shown instead, I can’t change this.
That’s correct behavior. It’s a phenomenon common to all FS2020 aircraft used in FS2024. This won’t get corrected until the Sting is re-compiled as a native FS2024 plane.
Since the Sting is an FS2020 SDK aircraft, it will show the FS2020 Co-Pilot (or an entirely random avatar if you didn’t have a Co-Pilot selected) as the Pilot, since the FS2024 “Avatar” is active outside the plane in Navigation Graph mode when you load into the plane clicking Fly Now. The 2024 Avatar essentially is overriding your FS2020 Pilot.
Experiencing the same issue with all 2020 aircraft, to be honest, it’s unbelievable that this is cannot be fixed for non-native planes.
Different software Development Kits. It’s a code limit.
