trying to set up my route in the FMS. I’m typing my origin airport in the FMS FR field and pressing enter, but it just disappears and goes back to all *. How do you enter your FR and TO airports?
Is that the FPL page or a navigation page

I don’t have a flight plan in simbrief so nothing to import. was manually entering the flight plan. flight plan page is empty
Use the FPL key to go to the Flight Plan page and enter your route from there. This is not an easy FMS to learn. It was my first on a jet aircraft when I started teaching at FlightSafety and I got a thorough phobia of them from this gadget. Once you master it though, you will love it.

i thought the FPL page was only to select existing FLPS? i’m pretty sure my page was blank
