I have the FSS 170/175, along with GSX, and I would like to use them together. I understand that in order for this to happen that I need to enable GSX using the EFB, but as you can see from the photo, GSX is not presented as an option:
Now, here’s where it gets strange; if I hit the “Reset EFB Settings to Default” button, GSX will now appear:
The downside to this, however, is that I now need to type in my Simbrief ID again, along with resetting all of the EFB settings that I had previously entered. Now, this doesn’t sound so bad, but the problem is that I need to do this every time that I use the EJet; while it will save the EFB config, it doesn’t save the GSX info or even show it as an option like in the first photo above.
I was wondering if anyone else that uses the FSS EJets has run into a similar problem, and if so, were you able to remedy it? I should mention that I am using the current “stable” version, and not the experimental, and also that this is an “early access” aircraft.
I would be very thankful for any thoughts regarding this.
