Any Ideas? Converted Aircraft shows up on runway and auto taxis. As soon as the animation is over camera changes to cockpit view and sim crashes. I have got a couple of aircraft to convert no problem. seems like the cockpit issue could be a simple fix. just need some guidence

SU5 has broken legacy aircraft. You need to remove any/all mouserect/clickspots in the mdl manually, otherwise the game will crash. Open MCX, and manually remove all mouse code.

Can anyone send me a link to a Panavia Tornado that actually works? i’ve tried a few freeware ones but they don’t seem to convert the textures at all (aircraft is invisible in game) and I’d prefer not to pay 30 pounds for the just flight GR1 if i can help it. cheers

Just Checking as somebody did post a converted Carenado Phenom on another site about a month and a half ago. We all need to guard against piracy to protect the hobby.
I can;t send you a link to one, but I can tell you that there are a couple on Flightsim.com, including the UKMIL one. You’ll have to join and then search the file section. You can then use the aircraft importer to convert them for use in MSFS, but I would warn you that sometimes results are strange. For example, the one I used ended up with the drop tanks on TOP of the wings.
I think it’s best that you work out how to do it, because you can fly around in so many aircraft downloaded from sites like that, but no one has permission to give you one they have already converted themselves due to copyright. I have converted around 30 aircraft myself from FSX ones, and as long as you stick to ones that are FOR FSX and not updates from 2004, and preferably after 2012, they all have worked really well so far.
How easy as the vertavia one to convert? i have tried a few now and none of the textures seem to convert to dds correctly and I end up flying an invisible aircraft. i’ll buy the vertavia one if the textures import correctly but dont want to pay if they dont. I dont have fsx so i cant buy the justflight tornado as the installer for it needs me to have the fsx.exe file which i don have 
Hi , i used to convert not anymore don’t bother leagacy airplane don’t work anymore for the most part every update they remove more and more so my advice if you buy play on fsx…

Hello guys! Can somebody explane me how to replace the cockpit please? I basicly have installed the a318 from MSFSADDON .COM, but the cokpit doesn’t work with the newer version of FBW… I have alredy try to import all the new cokpit, ModelBehaviorDefs and html_ui in the A318 model. Its only change the texure, but all the button on the overhead panel are going crazy and when i try to turn on the aircraft also the screens…

Evening all. I have previously tried to import the UKMIL tornado f3 into the game and all textures work, the aircraft flies just as it should but I have these texture issues. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas? Thanks
HI, i am trying to import the native melin helicopter from fsx to msfs 2020, however it seems that dont want to work with msfs, i use the legacy converter 2.6 and cant make it to appear into the sim. dont know what the issue is, could it be a outdated fsx MDL file?
i really whant this heli to play around but i cant make it even appear at the hangar. any help or tip will be apreciated to solve this issue.

I myself am looking for information on converting FSDS (or FSX BGL) models to work in FS2020. I have some models I created for FSX that I would love to place in FS2020. I’ve been out of FS development for quite some time, other than a plugin I wrote to a couple years ago to export X-Plane obj files.
