With the most recent update my converted Rick Piper Chipmunk no longer starts. Engine turns over, but does not fire. Anyone else having this happen?

I’m going to run, does this model work well for you? I had it too and ran great but it stopped working out of nowhere. the engine does not load and cannot be started by 
Which addon? I don’t bother with any of the portovers at all now, since interaction with the VC switches etc was dropped. I believe that with the upcoming update, and supposed issues with xml code, that portovers will perform even worse.

WIP, this is actually a model I had for X-plane that I’m bringing into MSFS. The cockpit, gauges and screens I borrowed from other msfs planes. Still needs some work and some cockpit animations but it works.

I guess that channel will be quiet for a long time. Legacy planes causing crashes now even with full converted CFG files for the modern flight model.
If anyone find out whats going on…please send me a PN. Im also trying to find out whats wrong by myself.
looks like Asobo encrypted series of textures now so one cannot use or reference existing cockpit in other planes. i have no problem getting my plane to render and show up in SU5, it’s just the cockpits have black/opaque glass now and certain textures can’t be accessed by reference any longer.
It looks like PBR/reflective texturing has disappeared on conversions since SU5.

Anyone get their portover aircraft to display shine since SU5?
was actually about to ask about this. i have a lot of shine, glimmer and reflections since SU5. everything is so messed up other than shine though that i havent really worked on a solution ie. clouds, sceneries, flight dynamics. so many CTDs. This game is borderline broken ATM.

I didn’t even do the update as it broke all the Legacy planes I flew. Going back to FSX and may just delete 2020 because of all the room it takes to just sit there
Yeah, they really should have at least tried to do the sim update while leaving backward compatibility in place for existing conversion. It blows my mind why they decided not to do this.
