Not sure if that was a question for me or someone else. But the Rhino is Dean’s (DC Designs) gorgeous payware v1.06 I believe.

Hi guys I am trying to convert the bay tower rv7
I have it in MSFS shows up looks nice as soon as I start the motor the wings and tail plane disappear
any ideas anyone

If a payware you have alot of custom vis that have to be fixed in MCX. Careful about buying a plane to convert I’ve heard lots of problems…

Ok I was trying to find answers in this beautiful thread but didn’t succeed.

I ported over some of my FSX AI traffic to see them with my VATSIM model matching. But for some reason one textures works perfectly fine and the other is being skipped by VPilot (I think there may be something wrong in MSFS). Interestingly I have them both set up exactly the same incl. DDS textures. same base model (in different folders on same folder level), all references in layout.json, both referenced in the aircraft.cfg.

What am I missing here?

Another question: I have yet to figure out how the strobes and beacon are being triggered. Is there a way to “tell” the AI aircraft when to turn on the taxilights, strobes etc?

Oh, and if someone knowledgeable reads this. I couldn’t really find an answer as to why some textures are glowing while others don’t. I compared the Material parameters in MX converter and they are both the same. What am I missing?

been trying to port this for a while, i can never get it to work right.

Has anybody tried to import the Fletcher FU24-950 by Deane Baunton yet? I ran the importer and did all the steps like in the imports before but it doesn’t show up in the aircraft selection screen prior flight and if I load it up via the dev mode the Sim goes CTD. Is there any way to check which file is being loaded before the sim crashes with inbuilt tools? I may do it with procmon but I think thats a bit of an overkill for just an imported airplane.

Hi Dennis - I have. It does work, but I have yet to crack the old non 3d gauges. This is for the radio and gps., so these just show up as big annoying rectangles. Also the textures are not perfect. email me. deanebaunton@gmail.com
I have not had a lot of time to sort out, but can share what I have.
