Just curious can a FS9/2004 plane be converted to FSX then to 2020?
Where in the Legacy tool is the texture converter? I used the one that shows up when converting and ran it . I’m trying to use that modelconverter , but that 's gonna take a lot of reading. LOL I already lost the left wheel structure on one plane. Gonna reinstall later if I can’t fix.
Yes, this it is possible to convert an FS2004 model to FSX format using MCX and then use it with MSFS, but it is far more detailed and tricky. I would highly suggest you get the FSX to MSFS process down reliably before attempting anything from FS2004.

Thanks, Is that why some of these planes in FSX don’t show in 2020. Just downloaded a B-52 and did the Legacy conversion , can see plane plane and it loads but all I get is a great view of the runway.

native FSX model will show in hangar, but not FS9 model, when load in hangar, the model is invisible.

Did you get any of the older gliders to work? I downloaded some gliders from that website and tried to convert, but none of them even show up in the sim. I tried K-7, Bergfalke II and the SG-38.
You need in some cases the dev console activated to select the glider via aircraft selector.
You could activate the dev console via the UI settings.
And yes some could not work. You must try it.
Read that some FSX planes have a 8, some an X in the mdl file. Doe that mean it is a converted FS9. The main question is can it be changed to a X so it will run in 2020.
I’m asking as I 'm trying to get a B-52 but seems all have a 8 in that file.

The time is come that i need help too… my A-321 has such an chrome look… is there an easy way to remove this… and that the plane is only white ? I know that the problem will come from the alpha channel but in this case iam a noob 
Sorry no way. The creator don’t want that his ported aircraft be published until he release them ready to fly with all parts working.
You could port it easily by yourself with the Legacy Converter👌
