hello. a symple question… the phantom waht is trademark or developed ? thank you
There were no MODS by me, if you are directing the message to me.
Just a STATEMENT.
This is a Forum for FSX Import Showcase. I have gotten a lot of help and information on here, and still learning. In the case of me Sharing the B-52 I was letting him or her see the model I was working on. I had done NO modification to said plane, and I take NO credit for the plane or anything on here except that I did a some what usable plane for me to fly on this Sim on My PC.
If you want to watch me have a ball as I’m sure it will be interesting.
Y’all have a GREAT day, now gonna cut some grass…
wow, wonderful plane
OK, but let’s assume that in this forum it is forbidden to share links, whether they are personal modifications or not. You can read the policies of the forum.
hi gamerfull , are you a mod ? i checked your profile you just a tech alpha insider not a mod , correct me if i’m wrong? cheers
That looks good! Maybe a year or two we can start having good mlt planes
Look, I am a developer and microsoft insider for the windows and gaming platform for many years, I do not need to be a moderator to clarify and stop the car for those who do not respect the clearly stated policies, also here no one needs a lawyer. let those who make mistakes fend for themselves. and let’s continue collaborating on the issue that summons us here.
Its the freeware phantom was the old alphasim or IRIS one from FS2004 that can be downloaded off a couple of sites. Others have improved over the years and this one is from around 2013 - phantom redux I think it was called.
Its a straight port into MSFS 2020 - some instruments don’t show and engines surge off and on so works broadly but would still need work to get working completely correctly and fully functionally - hoping in due course we’ll see developers start to release models as we had for FSX, etc.
yes looks great - It’s Dino C’s and hoping that we’ll see him release a number of aircraft for MSFS. This one is a direct port into MSFS but has a number of issues - just wanted to see how she looks as love flying the S3 in P3DV4. Hoping Dino will develop this one for MSFS 2020 in due course
ok. look, you need copy the files of CJ4 Aircraft to F-4 phantom folder.
the cj4 aircraft have 2 jet same the phantom. Copy and reemplace and testing.
i have a mirage aircraft workin with this method.
after you need copy all parameters from original AIRCRAFT.CFG to all new files for separetly.
Awesome! Many thanks - I’ll try that out with the Phantom - Much appreciated! Love flying it in P3DV4 and hoping in time that the developers of the various freeware we have across FSX/P3D will be looking to migrate some to MSFS 2020. The Mirage looks fantastic too.
Payware and Freeware Rules
Any payware or freeware promoted by users of this forum must have proper approval from all authors of the content. Any redistribution of content without proper permissions will be deleted. Piracy will not be tolerated.
Okay so, lets see, nothing about links to aircraft.
most freeware aircraft are repaints or provided without discreet liability or restrictions, nearly every one of the FSX Import websites that distribute these aircraft do not restrict distribution. go read those policies yourself, that removes the liability here on this forum.
PAYWARE - totally different ballgame. if you PAID for a aircraft, you are legally bound not to distribute that aircraft or modify it. and i dont think you understand the context of what “Modify” means in this case. Modify means to disseminate and alter the contents for its original purpose. importing into a newer version or itteration of the same platform that content that uses a different engine and mandates some changes to configuration files is not covered in that liability. what IS Covered, is altering or sharing the content with or without monetary gain. you as the end user have every right to change a few characters or configuration entries to import content from an older iteration of the same “Named platform” into a newer one due to engine and rendering changes.
Importing aircraft, you HAVE to mod them just to get them to work at a basic level, so, if the rules forbid modding freeware, then every one of us in this topic should have been warned, content links, posts and rules violations posted to our accounts.
Oh noes, the dreaded forum mods and admins, if that was the case, this entire topic would have been locked and probably deleted. they do quite the awesome job of controlling things outside of the rules.
i have several of the freeware aircraft imported into my sim, i even have 4 PAYWARE aircraft imported into my sim that i bought from virtavia and milviz. i know 3 people who have the SAME aircraft as well.
i know exactly where they came from for the freewares and oh guess what…
“Feel free to make changes or distribute this aircraft” is written on at least 4 of their descriptions right on their source downloads. 1 aircraft is from avsim.com 3 from simviation.com… ooops there went your theory about the distribution.
do you have the authors email? phone number? direct contact for each of the aircraft JTBUCK has posted? are you snitching on him for each post? because unless you do, you are barking at a hollow tree and just flex posting a non-existent power status.
for a supposed developer, windows and game insider, you sure do blur the lines of the rules very verbosely.
which part of the Alpha did you join in on? June forums join date, heck, i was here in the forums 3 days after it first started in the original Alpha back in December of last year
Sincerely - 18 Year IT Professional
the fact the community is doing 100x faster and more elaborate job within 2 months of the release of the sim than Asobo has done or has provided tools or even tutorial material for, puts out the effort of the community as superior.
and since we do not have the source code or since many of us only understand the SDK and the changes between FSX and FS2020 at a core basic level, well, you figure that one out.
mister … there is a great remedy, and that is to say YES. So you are happy and you are rewarded for writing your opinion. and … as you are an IT professional, I hope to see your profile with many publications and help for all the members of the forum since in this thread you have only appeared to debate something that we all know. I’m not going to argue with you … I’m going to central to help those who need data. You know men.
lol - “mister” im not even going to engage that, you must be a very young person, is all im going to say.
first off, ive provided more data and help in these forums than you give me credit for, do some digging around on my profile and see the topics ive submitted help, done extensive testing and feedback work with, helped a plethora of users fix and discover new features as well as, oh wait, import aircraft. but you wont find that info here, because its not here, its elsewhere, discord servers, reddit posts, and other websites.
yes i did write an opinion, just like you wrote one acting like some kind of third party moderator then power flexed your “Insider” status as a means of validation. pfffft.
what have you contributed to this topic other than your recent flex post? so far, so, you sir, are a hypocrite as far as this entire topic is concerned.
“I have a big problem with my converter planes after the update 1.8.3.0. When run the simulator no have problem, but run a normal flight and enter in to VC the simulator shutdown i return to desktop. Before this update my airplanes no issues. Any here with this problem after the update 1.8.3.0 ?”
^ ^ ^ hmmmmm, so you are modding and developing stuff yourself, but flex posting on other users warning them like some kind of legal moderator.
“maybe you send me you proyect via cloud and i am review.”
Oh whats this? wait, no, sharing files GASP wait wait, but thats against the rules, well, at least your version of the rules.
“Please notificate me to delete the archive in to my cloud.”
wait, delete the archive in your cloud? but why? what are you hiding? if its freeware and liability free, then why do you need to be reminded to delete it… self-incrimination is awesome isnt it?
“Hey!! this forum no piracy admmited.”
ahh, but admitting you need to be reminded to delete data and archives, is and can be used as a form of admission of piracy.
“yes. the last patch fixes more bugs … but take down own developed aircrafts”
^ ^ ^ hmmmm, only one patch caused problems with community aircraft, and that was fixed by asobo and was a error on their part. lack of information on your part maybe?
Do i need to go on? you are obviously a amature at these things, you have lots of learning to do in this field.
by the way: this is a ENGLISH only forum… learn to use google translate and stop posting in ESP, you are breaking that rule countless times in both the Alpha sections and Public sections.
well, there you have it, legal release of liability for the B-52.
Look plain and simple, stop flexing, stop telling people and warning them what to do while doing the same thing yourself.
