Many thanks,
I will try to play with these triggers and keep in touch ..

Found this nice little flier by accident.

Hi.
I just checked and every part has a visibility condition set to “none”. LOD is either -1 for scenegraphnodes and 100 for model parts which sounds right to me but is it ?

I am converting a freeware 50’s era Convair airliner.
The cockpit gauges were all crossed out, so I tried the Airbus A320 cockpit.
It looks pretty good and seems functional, but I can’t get any of the labels to appear. Any ideas?

Nice with the CV580!

Did you try matching to the King Air Cockpit and Cabin?

I have some nice Allison turboprops sounds, so if you release this, I can try to learn how to mod the sounds if you need.

I didn’t think about the King Air. Is that a tier 1 aircraft or is it deluxe? I initially wanted to use the Baron, but it’s all protected. I just found a bunch of textures that I overlooked, so I’ll see if that cleans up the cockpit. I won’t release the plane because it isn’t mine, but I’ll post a step by step for do it your self-ers. I think they’ve already modelled a full passenger cabin for the A320…just saying

By the way, there is a great movie with a lot of Convair footage on TCM right now called Three Guys Named Mike.

oh yea, I’ve had some fun with this one as well!

Hi,
I understand the rule forbidding to give links to download the converted models but would it be possible to give the link to download the original aircraft from sites like simaviation or so, or at least the name of the creator of the original aircraft. This way, anyone can give a try to convert, and use only on his personal computer, the marvelous aircraft shown in this topic.
Of course, I speak only for freeware models.
Neithertheless, it seems to me that the original creator should be mentioned due to respect for their work.
Have a good day !

It works really well in the air. Not so much on the ground though. Have you figured out how to deal with the nose gear stuck hard right or left most times?

Is that a FS9 Razbam T-2 or a different payware?

Hi,
The fact of publishing an addon as freeware does not necessarily imply that the author wants us to modify its development nor to publish it even mentioning his name, since his modifications will not have been validated by him, it seems simple to understand.

Good point. As a former FSX developer I (for one) fully agree.

Ok i am not a developer myself and may be too dumb to catch what seems to be so simple to understand for you … That is why i will not push the subject farther and you may be right but I found your answer a bit rude.

Love this aircraft. Not perfect but definitely above average when compared to some other port overs.

Still can’t get over how good this 15 year old fs9 model can look in MSFS 2020! I think she’s looking her best in this sim.
