FTSim+ Sound Pack (WWise) for EMB 110 Bandeirante

There is a WWise Sound Pack for the EMB 110 Bandeirante now available made by FTSiM+. All Sounds included (Engine & Clicks) no compromise like with legacy sounds. You have to be patreon to download it though.

Here is a video (german) where I used it.

Thanks JayDee - does this soundpack replace the engine sounds but remove the cockpit sounds?
I have adapted the TSS Twin Otter .wav sounds to work with the EMB-110 and the cockpit sounds still work.

No, the FTSiM+ Sound Packs are completely WWise Packs. All Sounds/Clicks included. Maybe some Sounds are not quieter when you open windows and doors, but this seems to be a issue of the original EMB110.

That’s good to know, thank you! I must take a look at these sounds this weekend.

Well, I just couldn’t wait… the TSS Twin Otter .wav sounds worked very well, but often the exterior engine sounds wouldn’t play and I had to keep toggling between the cockpit and chase views until they did play.
This sound pack is VERY well put together indeed, the sounds are very smooth and not too loud - there’s the hiss of the props, the whistle of the turbines and a pleasing bass drone under power just as there should be.
The aircraft package has to be moved into the Official folder for the mod to work, but it certainly DOES work and the original cockpit/interior sounds are unaffected. Superb.

I dont have the Banderiante in the official folder. It should work in the community folder too. Maybe just pay attention to the naming of the mod folders, the sound mod should be loaded after the bandeirante addon.

Thanks again! I initially followed the installation instructions to move the aircraft folder into Official, but I moved the aircraft folder back into Community and added a z- prefix to the mod folder name and it works perfectly.

Very nice sounds, that was the thing that was lacking the most with that aircraft in my opinion.

Sounds are very good, but until the dreadful FPS issue from the XML gauges is resolved I can’t bring myself to put more money towards this addon. It does give me a lot of excitement for FTSim’s other packs though. Question: I saw that to get access to these files you have to subscribe on Patreon. Do you have to subscribe at the $50/month level to get them?

Thanks!

Edit: Wow, only had to do the $2 month membership to get these files. Very generous! I’ll stay subscribed to support their work.

I have a 4,90 $ subscription, and that is the minimum you need, to get all NEW posts and downloads. Basic for 2$ - you get only the popular posts, that means probably you don´t get the new sounds immediately. But fyi I am also very new on ther patreon, so I can´t say for 100% sure what basic brings you and what not.

Very cool, thanks. For the lowest tier I was able to get the two I was most interested in (C208 and EMB110, even right after I said I wasn’t going to put any more money toward that one… for this price, no brainer!)

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I just picked up the sound back for the EMB110, and I can’t get it to work using the included instructions.

It doesn’t make sense to me that the aircraft itself would need to move to the Official folder. This removes it from my sim entirely. I must be missing something but I’ve been trying to make this work for a few hours and I can’t crack it.

You don´t have to move the EMB110 at all. Where did you find that in the instruction?

Edit: If you didn´t purchase the EMB via Marketplace, just leave it where it is and just copy the sound mod over.

Thanks for the quick response! From the instructions sheet I received:

    • Move the Emb-110 Aircraft folder “nextgensim-aircraft-xxx” inside the \Official\Steam\ or the
      \Official\OneStore\ Directory
    • Move ”EMB110_Sp“ inside the "Community “ folder :

I also tried not moving the EMB, but that didn’t work for me either. The stock sounds were still being used.

Ok, I have a hinch what the problem is.

As said, ignore the moving the EMB100 part. That instruction is just not applicable. When unpacking the Sound Mod Zip there seems to be a folder level too much. There is “EMB110_SP” inside the “EMB110_SP”. Copy that on out into the community folder.

I double checked, and I’ve got the right EMB110_Sp folder in the Community folder. For some reason, the plane is still using the stock sounds. I even made sure I wasn’t crazy by comparing it to your video about the sound pack. It’s definitely using the original sounds.

Ok, one last Idea. Please rename the Sound Mod to “ZZ EMB110_SP”.

That did it, it’s working now! JayDee you’re a life saver! How did adding ‘ZZ’ to the folder make a difference?

It bumps that addon lower in the list, meaning it loads later. This can help if something else is overwriting it (in this case, likely the stock addon itself was overwriting the soundpack folder.)

Exactly as Stardrifter said. It changed the loadingt order. I am happy it is working for you now.
