I use VR as the primary way to fly. Currently I use windowed mode and have other apps running while I fly. The issue that I run into is sometimes a different window will get the focus and certain commands will no longer work until I switch the focus back to MSFS.
So I’m wondering if other people run into this issue, how they deal with it, and if full screen mode is a better way to fly instead of Windowed. Thx.
I observed that in the windowed mode the mouse cursor is constrained within the sim window. Sometimes (reasons unknown) the cursor goes out which poses a risk not only of lost focus but also closing the sim if you will be unlucky enough to click on “x”.
AFAIK there are no negative effects of running the sim in the full screen mode.
I had the same problem. So I switched to full screen mode. Than it will not happen again. But the FS does switch back to windows mode after restart sometime and I don’t know why. So every time after restarting I have to check that, to have my peace. I have no problem with it when the problem is solved that way. But of course it would be easier if asobo would fit this little bug that once you choosed window or full screen it would stay that way.
