today I accidentally noticed that I have higher FPS when the MSFS does not have the focus.
So, i am using MSFS on my 3 Screens in Window Mode.
When i now click inside the MSFS Window, i have about 25-28 FPS.
But when i click outside MSFS in the Taskbar as example, then i get about 32-35 FPS.
WHat is this ?

I’m guessing you have lots of traffic? Perhaps AI traffic or even just are playing an area where lots of people fly?
When in the background, traffic goes through more interpolations which isn’t as intensive on the CPU nor does it involve as many locks.
When in the foreground, live traffic and other players get more frequent updates. Also the terrain gets more frequent updates from the servers.
In general, with the sim focused in the foreground it’s providing the most accurate and fully updated simulation, while when it is in a background screen, it gets slightly deprioritized and low priority things get throttled.

Traffic…no, traffic is off and FSLTL was not running.
I have only a bit of Airport AI Traffic on, thats all.
I have no idea how that happens…but thanks for the help.
