G1000 AP disconnect annunciator

I believe it was World Update 2 that added some changes to the G1000 autopilot behavior. Since then, the autopilot disconnect annunciator remains visible on my PFD indefinitely after disabling the autopilot:

Is this intended behavior? Or, if it’s a bug, is anyone aware of a fix? Thanks!

I’ve noticed that too. I can only get it to turn yellow by cycling the AP on/off.

Agree and I notice the same. It also creates a non-normal procedure to re-activate the AP if you needed to engage it again.
