G1000 is less realistic than older FS versions

FSX

FS2020

The above images says it all!!
How’s that possible? The current G1000 doesn’t correctly simulate approach procedures, and the old version of the flight simulator(FSX) does it perfectly, including procedures with NDB. The FS2020’s G1000 doesn’t even have the option for NDB procedures, there are also missing hold patterns and options for VECTORS, minimuns, etc. Seriosly? Please Asobo correct this as soon as possible, because it is almost impossible to simulate an IFR flight this way. For VFR flights it’s perfect, but for IFR leaves a lot to be desired.

When you see them “side by side” .. it’s just “SAD” …

Different dev’s, different code. It’s possible that the FSX code simply doesn’t work in the new sim. But you can get more if you get the Working Title mods. I don’t fly without them anymore - especially the G3000 in the TBM.

Yeah, I understand that FSX have different code, but is unjustifiable that after 15 years, basics things like that, have being remove or not implemented.
I know it Working Title mods, but even so, the approach procedures are same and little things have been added.
I hope Asobo fix it soon.

sad are the ppl who keep complaining and complaining, very sad those.
you know, you dont need to play this game.

We must criticize to improve the quality of the game, because in fact there are many things that need to be improved. The simulator fails in detail, but in general the simulator is very good, things like physics, mechanics, weather, it is really excellent, for example on visual flights, I have no complaints, it is perfect, but on IFR flights it is bad the way it is.

To this day the MSFS is still in heavy open beta. This is what is needed for the sim to out beat the VFR stages and include IFR stages to take over P3D and XPL. Its great for VFR but there is a whole community who is dedicated to study level IFR aircraft that can’t be flown because Asobo still has a lot to fix. The better people nitpick the better it will be in the long run.
