G1000 Nearest Airports menu does not update during flight

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

The G1000 PFD menu item “Nearest Airports” does not keep updating during flight. Data appears to be frozen, no update of the actual nearest airport nor change in the distance to those airports.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Every time on sim load.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. I selected the SR22 for this flight (but any G1000 equiped aircraft should do).

2. During the flight, select the PFD Nearest softkey located in the bottom row of the PFD.

3. Observe data not changing.

Additional info:

Although the PFD’s Nearest Airports function is still not updating as of 22 Feb 2026, the MFD “Nearest Aiports” works just fine. See attached picture.
