I use the VNAV system in the C172 and I’ve noticed that i receive no information about TOD when I select an approach with ILS. Also, the VNAV system does not activate. Click on Direct VNAV on the MFD soft keys has no effect.
Is this normal for ILS approaches for any reason?.
Is this after setting a lower Altitude? IAF Altitude for example.
The TOD isn’t working in the 172. It has to do with whatever bug is causing the aircraft icon to be a gray dot. My understanding is it’s something about some of the electrical systems not correctly feeding the various (simulated) modules of the G1000 ADAHRS. Note that your descent arcs aren’t working either.
No, it simply does not appear from the very beggining, no matter if I change altitude.
