ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue: Randomly on some flights I will be in a descent with VNAV turned on, VPTH is active and Altitude selection is turned to 0. At a random point VPTH will go to the armed state and Pitch mode becomes active but does not have near the -VS to ever catch the VPTH again.
If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: I’ve had this happen on the C208 and C172

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Seems randomly, but consistant on the mission that it does happen on
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
1.Get to TOD and VPTH becomes active.
2.Descend for a while following the VPTH boxes.
3. Randomly pitch mode becomes active and never catches back up, leaving you out of position for an effect approach for the flight plan.
