Should the direct to a STRGHT or FINAL waypoint on a visual approach work? Currently it is only possible to activate leg to (at least in the stock vision jet in MS2024).
On selecting direct to on STRGHT or FINAL waypoint I only get this page:
I think I remember that it was possible to go direct to a waypoint on a visual approach loaded in the Garmin G1000 or G3000 in FS2020, but I might be wrong or they have changed the behaviour.
Instead in the GTC
Go to the Flight Plan
Select the WPY you want to go to
Select the Direct button
Should work !
That is what I do, and it works for all other waypoints including RW36, which leads me to believe that it should not be possible since it is on a visual approach with generated waypoints. Although it is really convenient.
It works in FS2020 TBM so there is clearly a bug here:
FS2020:
WT says it is a known bug which will be fixed in a future update.
