I am flying the Cirrus Vision with the G3000. I have traffic set to unrestricted and enabled on the moving map. There are several commercial jets flying way above me, but none of them are appearing on the map.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything I’m missing? I have traffic details in the screenshot
I think that it will only show traffic that’s somewhere around +/- 2000 feet of your altitude.
that might explain it. i had thought the “unrestricted” setting meant it would show all traffic
it’s still possible the other traffic was too high to show up. hard to tell from my point of view
Any way, little trafic map window inserted in PFD is supposed to be part of a TCAS system.
