I have been looking for a solution to have the G3000 in the TBM930 on an iPad. Unfortunately, it was not possible due to windows issues as I understood. I tried Spacedeck for the pop-outs and that worked, but only not the touch screen. Until now!
I downloaded MSFS pop-out panel manager from flightsim.to, followed the instructions but still no luck. I replaced Spacedeck with Duet, another utility to use the iPad as an extra screen. The combination of Duet with the MSFS popout panel manager works great, this is something I’ve been looking for for a long time!
EDIT: a friend of mine got it to work with Spacedesk, i don’t have a clue why that didn’t work here but I’ll stick to Duet. That’s also a bit FPS friendlier…
Looks great but seems to take three times the time or more than it would with the mouse…
I believe people use software to create a 3rd screen as an ipad. Then pop out with right-alt and click and moving it to that screen
It all depends what you want, when you’re used to the mouse, nothing wrong with that but I want to fly without my mouse and keyboard… With this working i can make my own G3000 with the knobs and buttons and build in the iPad…
true, but even better when touch works, it also works great when you are building your own GTN750 for example…
Touch isn’t working? I was always under the assumption it was, but I could be wrong. Never actually seen it work.
Touch is most definitely not working natively with MSFS. It’s been a sore subject by those of us that have touch screens that work perfectly well with Windows but not with the sim popouts. It’s been reported since around the time the sim first launched and still no fix.
Well, it works great with MSFS popout panel manager now, so I’m happy!
The key word is natively and what POPM offers is not touch per se it’s mouse emulation. Its all we have right now and I’m very thankful for it. I’ve been using it since it was added as a feature and It works reasonably well for single touch operations.
I agree, I’m happy with it and it’s the best we can get right now. At least we have something while waiting for a native solution.

I used to use DUET but then ran into some problems so I contacted DUET TECH support…they were more than terrible (slow to respond and never solved the problem) so a word to the wise!!! They could never get my problem solved and their ULTIMATE solution was to completely wipe my computer and reinstall everything. I am/was running Windows 10. This problem happened after one of their UPDATES. Their software has its tentacles into lots of the the registry and is almost impossible to uninstall. FWIW
