I’m playing around with the new G3X and it’s fantastic, however there’s one thing I can’t figure out. On the map menu screen there’s the “detail level” graph and it shows full detail. How is that adjustable? Many aspects of the map are customizable in the submenus, but this overall detail level chart is always full green. Is there a way to adjust it? I usually use my Garmin maps at a low level because I don’t need so much clutter. But here I tried turning all the knobs and tapping everywhere on the screen, to no avail.
Well as soon as I posted, I figure it out (on PC anyway!)
I just “grabbed” the green line and pulled it up/down and it worked!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to add back in anything you’ve manually removed (e.g. turned large/medium/small airports, etc view ranges to “off”) even if you pull it up to most detail. But if you have those things turned on (airports, etc set to something other than “off”), it will increase/decrease map detail based on what you’ve selected to show.
