in the g1000 the leaning button is greyed out

G36 Bonanza MFD leaning screen missing?

G58 may not be capable of this function, even when upgraded to Garmin 1000.

These modern niceties require special sensors, temp monitors, wiring and related bits and pieces on the engine/exhaust . That would be an expensive upgrade, if even possible.

It worked fine in 2020. It is capable. The one that I rent it works fine.

Sim update 2: Still no way to properly set your fuel and lean the mixture for a flight with the missing pages. Along with the completely beaten up look on the exteriour, things like this surely need more TLC priority than the endless career fixes. Right now it feels like my lost all-time-favourite that is was in 2020 for 250+ hrs :cry:

And Sim update 3… Still not the one left screen available at start (and no, one doesn’t hit the avionics switch to ON at start, that is AFTER the engines have started).

Please can the Baron get some :heart: (and while at it, now the power is conpletely gone and the green positionlight is always on)

Sim Update 4.. Guess what? Still no PFD at startup, no leaning available and …. :sob:

Verified no leaning after a year.

Honestly, at this point, I’d be happy if the CHT gauge would at least react even a little bit to the mixture knobs.

If you have 2020 and the deluxe pack, toss aside the 2024 and enable the 2020 Baron to enjoy your flights again (see my post in Beachcraft Baron G58 Engine Performace suffers after MSFS 2024 SU3 - #19 by CoyoteDutch)
