It stalled on me the first time I tried, but on the next day it worked. It is just slow and erratic but now I have bought it.
what Mamudesigns give you is also the piers, albeit the transparent ones, so when I try to dock my floatplane it will just be pushed right thru by the wind. MSFS still gives us floatplanes that can’t be moored even if there is a pier.

The wake effect flashes and flickers when fairly far away from a ship (May also depend on wind speed but not sure, (happens when wind above 10 anyway), so what you see is just a flickering white square like the sun reflecting off something.
When closer to the ship the wake effect looks great.
I wonder if it is possible to make the wake LOD so that it only shows when close enough so that it does not cause the flashing artefact?
I think it could still be far enough so that there is no jarring “pop in”
I’m having a terrible time flying up the Seine in Paris past all the major features. Large ships keep popping up in the river all over the place, clearly ones completely out of place for a river with numerous low bridges. Are these coming from Gaist or MSFS? Does this happen to anyone else?

Hi does anyone know how to set GAIST with vatsim? I mean i would like to see the ships but If i set either live or AI i have airplanes aswell and i dont want the later as i fly on vatsim network, which setting do i have to select? thank you
nevermind, i figure it out its Air Traffic OFF, vatsim planes still show up, great!
Love your work and your attention to detail. If it’s not a big imposition could you look at the Gulf Coast of the southern US. This area is populated with shrimp boat activity from southern Texas to the southern tip of Florida. The traffic in this area seems very sparse.

I just installed Global AI Ship Traffic V7.1 and it doesn’t seem to work for me.
I’m trying to fly in Iceland where there should be a lot of ships like Reykjavik, Akureyri or Husavik, but no ships are shown.
I tried with both offline AI traffic and Live Traffic.
With Live Traffic, I can see the label of every boat, but none of them are showing.
Did I do something wrong?
There are also boats not having any labels. There was this one moving, but there were no waves behind.

I have no idea, it’s the same for me – I’ve checked everything several times, disabled MamuDesing stuff, checked all settings several times, downloaded and unzipped GAIST several times – so it’s not like some of the screenshots here – everything on high, then on medium, low - tried AI offline, AI online - AI offline, all recreational boats disappear, but I still don’t see any ships, AI online, I see the recreational boats again and sporadically ferries, etc. - but nothing like what is shown in some cases - MSFS2024!
Unfortunately GAIST is pretty much a no show in FS2024. Once in a blue moon I come across a container or cruise ship but that is so rare that I might as well uninstall it. If I had to guess I’d say I see less than 5 percent of the GAIST traffic volume compared to FS2020. 
I really hope that there will be a solution or fix down the road.

I was able to make ships show in Reykjavik, but so far, I’ve been unable to get anything in Husavik. Is it a problem with model matching or something else?
I tried without GAIST and same problem. I guess I will report as a bug in MSFS 2024 itself.
I was in Husavik once, but I saw no big vessels, just fishing boats.
I’m still having the problem of yachts and other small leisure craft populating small bodies of water which is totally unrealistic. I don’t think this is caused by GAIST though, I don’t know if someone can confirm.
Disabling default MSFS ships in library does not solve the issue.
Are there any plans to add routes in the Caspian? Would love to see that area come alive.

It’s not caused by GAIST. I think there is a bug report somewhere around here for this issue if my memory is serving me correctly
