I have not flown for most of a year and forgot a lot about the game. My disk is too full and I need space but would prefer not to uninstall. Is there something I forgot about map data or terrain that is making the appdata local packages flight simulator folder 179GB?
Thanks
You can also delete any world updates if you’re not using them very much. You can always reinstall individual WUs later if you are going to use them enough to justify the space they use.

Thanks for the replies. I only recovered 20GB by deleting the rolling cache. So far when I try to unistall one of the 372 installed things in content manager FS crashes. I tried to search in content manager for world updates but didn’t find the word “update”. My community forlder only has 312MB in it. This is an obese game. I will uninstall it and hope I get my disk back. I fear that reinstalling will start it tryng to get back all the things it thinks I want.
You can unistall from content manager:
Some aircraft (if not interested)
Aircraft liveries.
Airports you’ll never plan to use.
In world updates, every scenery you don’t want (click the lines at right and will open all added in each update)
Training, flights, etc
