Brief description of the issue:
I had a CTD because of the “Offers Available” button in the world map: I moved to KSFO, say the “2 Offers Available” button, pressed it, and saw the two offers available. They were the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe versions of Flight Simulator. So I backed out and saw the “stars” in the background:

I backed out of the World Map to look at the main menu, then opened the world map. And now I’m seeing the screen above and the game is frozen.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

  1. Open world map
  2. Focus on San Francisco
  3. Open the “Two Offers” button
  4. Back out of the offers dialogue
  5. Back out of the world map
  6. Open world map again

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:
RTX 2070 Super
Ryzen 7 3700X
Windows 10 20H2, OS Build 19042.1526

I just klicked on the offer preview thumbnail picture (Chicago in my case) and never got to the marketplace view. Instead the whole sim froze and I had to manually end the process in the task manager. restarting now to try again.

Hmm, it might be a temporary outage at the marketplace side. Still it shouldn’t hang then, but give an error message.

Restarted and retried with same airport - worked fine now. Pressed ESC to get back to the world map and: FREEZE

see post above (edited while you wrote). Freezes the sim so much, I cannot even make a screenshot. Rest of PC works fine. World map shows blurry without any airports shown. Music keeps playing. No Response have to manually end process again.

I was in World Map mode looking at KSFO. I noticed the “2 Offers” green button in the context menu for the airport. I clicked on it to see ads for upgrading to Premium, etc. When I hit escape, the game froze.

Same. Clicked on the EGLL offer on World Map, was unable to exit other than via task manager.

Hi all, is there a way to remove the green “Offers” button from airports? If i want something I’ll go to the marketplace or elsewhere. Don’t want to be nagged to buy something I don’t want.
