Game freezing during flight and on ground

I seem to be getting ever increasing game freezing. It only seems to be during flight but today for the first time it happened while on the ground at an airport. Over time the freezing has slowly got worse.

The game hardly ever crashes but the freeze causes me to CTRL + ALT + DEL and end the task. There is still game sound present but the game just doesn’t respond to any inputs. I have tried leaving it for up to 10 minutes and still no result. Just another thing to add to the list of problems.

I really do hope SU4 fixes a lot of these CTD and freezing issues. It is becoming a bit boring now.

Went to boot up and practice a route i need to fly later today and sure enough, same thing, freeze frame city.
This is getting real old real fast.

I freeze every time when flying large planes like 320 NEO but very few on the smaller aircraft. I notice if I put in a function when loading (little wheel going round right hand corner) it will freeze shortly after. I think there is a corilation between internet load time and the sim running. Try playing the game in your regen in the middle of the night, when there is low web activity. Its at that time I can complete a flight in a large aircraft

This happens to me since day one. It disapparead suddenly …and did not happened for a while but now i have not been able to use it for months…It crashes after few minutes. I just try when some “update” comes out but… This is just not acceptable anymore. One year and a half!!! problems everywhere. Ridiculous.

There’s a few things you should try such as refreshing your rolling cache and optimising your drives and if they have less than 11% free then Windows may start preparing data to swap in virtual memory, I believe this prep operation still occurs even with the page file disabled.

for me ,doesent matter big plane or small, dense graphics or bush . even my gpu and cpu running at 40%

BUT consistently, on a longer flight it did its “freeze” when i touch the cap switch on the control column to change my view !!!

for me,That seems to be the only consistent think i have ID to date!. Soo frustrating. Wish i could get someone at MS to hammer out my bugs and config this thing so I can just fly LOL Soo frustrating
